Sending a device? Start here.

  1. Get in touch first. Share the model, symptoms, and any deadline. We’ll confirm whether we can help and send receiving instructions privately.
  2. Agree on the costs. Repair labor is $60/hour. Your estimate includes parts and return shipping. We’ll also agree who arranges and pays for shipping to us, and the return-shipping cost if you choose not to proceed, before you send it. Diagnostics are free.
  3. Prepare and pack carefully. Back up important files if you can. Tell us if you cannot. Use a sturdy box with enough cushioning to stop the device moving, and include only the accessories we agree are needed. Keep your tracking details.
  4. Approve the work. We’ll discuss findings and any revised estimate before proceeding. Turnaround includes parts availability and shipping time.

A few helpful answers

Before we get started.

Do I need to back up my files?

Yes, if possible. Repairs can involve changes to storage or software. If the device won’t start or your files are at risk, tell us before trying further fixes so we can discuss a suitable next step. Don’t send passwords through the contact form.

Should I include the charger?

We’ll confirm the accessories needed for your particular device before drop-off or shipping. Please leave unrelated accessories at home.

What if a repair isn’t worth it?

We’ll explain the options and costs so you can decide. Diagnostics are free. If you choose not to proceed, any cost to return your device will have been agreed before you send it.

What warranty comes with the work?

Repair work includes a 60-day warranty covering the repair performed. If the same issue returns during that time, get in touch so we can put it right. Unrelated faults and new damage are separate; any parts-specific coverage will be explained with your quote.

Can you help if my budget is tight?

Please reach out. We’ll listen to what you need, explain your options, and look for a practical approach that fits your circumstances.
