The heart of Nine Lives

Another life for a computer. A new possibility for someone.

Every computer deserves another life. Everyone deserves access to one.

Give a computer

Unused doesn’t have to mean finished.

A computer sitting in a closet could become someone’s way to apply for a job, keep up with school, or stay connected.

If you have a computer you’d like to donate, start by sharing its make, model, and condition. We’ll review whether it is suitable for refurbishment and confirm acceptance before any handover.

Before donating, back up anything you want to keep. We’ll discuss how the storage drive and your data will be handled before accepting the device. If you cannot erase your files, let us know first; don’t include passwords in your message.

Please wait for confirmed instructions before dropping off or shipping a device.

Access makes a difference.

The goal is to refurbish donated computers and give them free to people who need them, with a little guidance to help recipients get started.

You’re welcome to express interest now and tell us what you would use a computer for. This is an inquiry, not a reservation or guarantee of a device. Availability and the program’s eligibility details are still being established; please don’t send financial documents.

The reason behind the repairs

There’s still a lot of good
in an old computer.

Nine Lives Tech brings computer repair and this community mission together: keeping useful technology working and helping it reach someone who needs it.
